Pastor Bobby Baker
Pastor Robert Allen Baker Jr., (Bobby), is the son of Bishop Robert A. Baker Sr., Senior Pastor of Christ Church in Hampton, Virginia. Bobby came to know the Lord as Savior at age 11 at Riverside United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana where his grandfather, the late Rev. Robert Baker served as Senior Pastor.
Pastor Bobby accepted the Lord’s call to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ in 2000 while a member of Eastern Star Church under the leadership of Pastor Jeffery Johnson.
Having a tremendous passion for God’s word and love for His people, Minister Bobby Baker sought the Lord’s will for his life, and on August 5, 2010, he became a licensed minister under the mentorship of Pastor James Anthony Jackson, following that achievement with earning an Associates of Science degree in Christian Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University on April 26, 2014.
Pastor Bobby was ordained by Pastor James Anthony Jackson at New Beginnings Fellowship Church and had the privilege of serving as Pastor of Family Ministries and Chaplain for the Indiana Pacers from January 2016 to March 2021, as well as facilitating, teaching, preaching and developing other leaders for 17 years.
Pastor Robert Allen Baker, Jr. is currently the Senior Pastor of The S.P.O.T Church (Spiritual Place of Transformation). He and his lovely wife, Lady Valerie Baker, have been married for 37 years and share a loving heart for serving God’s people. The have three beautiful Daughters, three amazing Sons-in-law and six adorable Grandchildren. Pastor Bobby and Lady Valerie love to spend time with their family, church family, and to travel.
